As an aging 80's metalhead guitar player, I've always liked the technical "shredder" players from purely a fan's point of view. This girl won the award for the best female guitarist of 2019. Now, before anybody gets offended, she's just having fun with a Michael Jackson song & is wearing zombie makeup like the Thriller video ... she literally didn't miss a single note in this whole song - she is the real deal & her technique is stellar. Seeing these elite players make it look so easy makes me want to sell all my guitar gear and take up gardening ...

I’m not sure whether this fits the rock genre but I’m not sure it doesn’t, either. Whatever genre you want to put it into, its simply great music, by some great talented musicians. Ry Cooder, Flacco Jimenez, Van Dyke Parks and company.........

Ken and John 👍👍!! Ry Cooper— slide guitar genius!! Gary Rossington from original Lynyrd Skynyrd (my favorite band-pre plane crash ) was heavily influenced by Ry..👍👍 people say Gary’s playing style is a cross between Ry Cooder and Paul Kossoff of “Free”..(Paul Rodger’s band before Bad Company)

Here's four of the most talented pre-teens from all over the world playing a super technical Andy Timmons song. FFW to the last 2 minutes - I find it uplifting to see such young people with this kind of proficiency on any instrument ...

Here's a few pictures of a mural in a local bar a friend of mine owns...a local artist painted it for him a few years ago.. some of my guitar heroes and favorite singers...

From left to right: Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters, Clapton, The Beatles in the corner (where they belong, way overrated to me lol), Hendrix, Janis, Santana, Dylan, Jerry Garcia, Duane Allman, Gregg Allman...a little talent 😁
