I am a big fan of him. I've been listening since high school.
I have even used his lyrics in my AAPK signature for a long time.

Re: Meatloaf
The Bat out of Hell album came out right smack dab in the middle of my glory days. I must have played that 8-track a thousand times. There are a couple of masterpieces on that album in my opinion.
Rest in peace Marvin and thank you for the inspiration.

He was a rare treasure. RIP.

Two out of three ain’t bad is on my all time top 10 list. Always thought the cafeteria in Glee should have served meat loaf for one meal before they shut production down.

Re: Meatloaf
He had an opera voice with a rocker attitude. One of the all time greats. I recall hearing the first chord on "Paradise" and thinking to myself, "this is gonna be good", and I was so right. R.I.P. Marvin.
Re: Meatloaf
RIP Meat, another one-of-a-kind talent gone. He could sing. Sad to see so many from that era of music leave us. Was an incredible time for the number of talents it produced.

RIP Marvin. I loved learning to play "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad" on the piano. (I have since misplaced the sheet music).

Re: Meatloaf
A very interesting article Rich. I assume some good songs are being produced today but, frankly, I haven't been musically satisfied since the demise of MOTOWN. I've always insisted that my war had the best music.
