Friend asked me about this. Can't tell from the pic if it's plastic or jigged bone, or ?? Any info appreciated. Quality ? Vintage ? J.O'.

I too have a hunting style knife with G.C.C. stamped on it. I traced it to Gutman of Germany. Got it as a souvenier while visiting Rocky Mt. Nat. Park back in 1965. Aside from the sheath it's held up quite well over the years. It was a cheap knife back then but the blade appears to be carbon steel.
