AL-Mar First 13 in Factory Display

Post by kennedy knives »

Had to take a picture of a couple of these so I thought I would share . This is the First 13 Knives in Ivory Micarta that Al-Mar did which you can see their Yellow not Ivory . On the Back of the Blade at the tang stamp is USA Seki Japan . These were done from 1979 to 1980 then the USA made them take the USA off . They came in the red boxes then switched to the white boxes later . Gary ::handshake::

Awesome collection. There were a few smaller Al Mar models, that after his death and the name had been purchased to produce utter bilge in China, were being cleared out cheaply as they (likely) weren't tactical enough for other collectors. I didn't buy a one, even when I could have.

Not to mention, I was offered an Ultralight for $60 when I was getting into lightweight folders, and didn't have the funds at the time.

Wow, You never cease to amaze me with your Al Mar collection. Love the stag ones.
