Here is the whole collection. The green one was made for William Henry but it’s the same knife as the others.

Thanks Mark, I keep an eye open all the time for Moki’s I don’t have. I think I bought one from a fellow AAPK member, the William Henry I bought from someone in Japan and this last one I got on Ebay.

Next time I have some more Moki’s made for me, I hope to be able to use green bone like this. Green has been my favorite color for a very long time. My last 3 cars were all green.

Kris, I think Bill has designed some amazing knives. This one is certainly amongst my favorites.

Thought I would add these to this thread. Two Aristocrat Medallion knives I got in today plus two Al Mar’s I already have. All very tiny knives. It just amazes me the high quality of these tiny knives. I know I would have a terrible time trying to work on something this small with my fat fingers and thumbs. The Aristocrats are made of Linen Micarta and either desert ironwood or Quince burl, not sure with such small pieces of wood. The Al Mar’s are stag and Quince burl.

Just added these two to my store. Two Moki bird and trout knives. I’ve posted the one with cocobolo and pearl and abalone inlays before, but it deserves another post. Chinese quince burlwood on the other one. Both are beautiful. I hope I can give myself permission some day to filet some bluegills with one of these in my collection. Love the way these feel in hand, light yet substantial and very balanced. Just about sharp enough to shave with. Both have AUS-8 stainless steel blades with stainless bolsters and pins. Full tang construction. The blade is 3 1/4” with an overall length of 7 1/8”. I love the swedge on the top of the blade and the finger grooves. I think the cutouts on the tang are for descaling. I like that idea, there are times when you descale a fish and start cutting and realize that you missed some scales, this would be perfect for taking care of those without having to pick up the descaler again. Makes me want to go fishing and try this out.

Beautiful B + T's Mark! ::tu:: Your theory about the cutouts sounds very reasonable. As you were describing using the knife while fishing I got excited about getting out and casting a few! 8)

Added these two new Moki’s to my collection today. When I bought them I thought I already owned the larger one but found out that I didn’t. The first one is a pendent or neck knife. Checkerboard pearl inlays on the mark side with stainless on the pile side. Measures 2 3/4” opened.
The second one is called an Amaranth with pearl inlays in the handles on both sides. It’s a very light and sleek knife. The handles are stainless that has been mirror polished and, believe me, shows every fingerprint. The run up on this is “Moki tight” and looks seamless in the full open position. You could slip this in your pocket and forget you had in there. They both fit right in to the collection.

Two very beautiful additions to your band of Mokis Mark! I like the smaller neck knife but the Amaranth is something special! I've been watching the Amaranth for quite some time now and get excited all over again every time I see them, but your pictures really capture the true beauty of that knife and they've got me excited once again! I'd love to be leaving fingerprints on that knife! Congratulations on adding those two to your collection! 8)

Moki Serapis with mother of pearl and abalone shield. VG-10 blade and I think the handles are also polished stainless steel, could be nickel silver but not the way Moki normally makes them. The abalone shield looks like an eye on this one, must be the very center of the rings on the abalone shell.

The long wait is over. I finally got this Moki I have been trying to get for over 2 years. I cannot remember what they called this or who it was made for. The inlays are beautiful on this, pearl and abalone. The grape cluster looks amazing. Some of the pearl even has a purple color to it. This is the same frame they build the Kronos model on. ATS-34 blade instead of the standard VG-10. What a beauty.

So I did some more research on this Moki and found out that there are at least 3 others in this series that were sold. The knife is called Elpis and they all have pearl and abalone and silver or gold accents. Here are some pictures of the others I found, not my pictures, taken from the internet.
I found a site that still had one listed but marked “out of stock” with a price of 409 dollars. So my multi-year quest has actually just started. I better start saving some money.
