Greg, the new giraffe is a Beauty. You are finding quite a few top GEC knives. I am always on the look out for ivory or mammoth GEC's but so far no luck. But finances are low so it's probably a good thing.

I wish there had been an ivory or mammoth #35 Churchill. I know, this is out of place in a Fremont thread but i wanted to post it.

Re: Northwoods Fremont
I've had this Fremont in pocket quite often lately. There's good reason it's so popular. Pity the factory hasn't had but one run of the 79 workhorse.

Here is a Stag Fremont that just sold by auction on ebay for $666. Very fine stag and rather high price.

Fremonts are one of my top two Northwoods patterns. I’m somewhat new to the Northwoods line, but have been fortunate to acquire a few. Here is one in stag.

Thank you Far Side! It’s hard to choose a favorite, as they are kind of like kids, but I’m pretty partial to this one.

Thank ya, Roland...I’m always looking for the next one! Here’s a plain yet elegant Red linen Micarta version alongside a Bear Lake of the same.

Bucki, what are the beautiful yellow handles on the above Fremont ? I'm not sure if wood, Micarta or bone. You have the finest Fremont collection.

Re: Northwoods Fremont
Thanks David and Roland...The yellow Fremont is camel bone. This example took the dye very well and has a deep, even color to it. It's from an earlier run in 2014. As for color, I'm kind of partial to my blue camel bone.

Re: Northwoods Fremont
Kind of an odd colored Fremont. I believe it was supposed to be Black Camel bone but the bone was too dense to take the dye. Only a bit of the black shows in these covers.

Rocking the Freemonts Buckibbq, fabulous show, keep them coming. Named after and old street in Portland OR where the KSF store used to be.

Ivoryman, you’ve got some great Fremont examples, for sure! Here’s one of my favorite mammoths.

Re: Northwoods Fremont
Another gem Buckibbq, beautiful ivory and weathering. Fabulous. Great investment too, just saw a Freemont sell for well north of $700. Wow.
