Seldom seen Marble's knives and sheath

Webster Marble formed Gladstone Mfg. Co. in 1892. That company created the first folding Axe in 1893 which lead to the incorporation of Marble's Safety Axe Co. in 1898. The company became Marble Arms & Mfg. Co. in 1911 & enjoyed years of success until succumbing to a shut down of production in 1974. The brand was brought back to life in 1994 & enjoyed a grand rejuvenation that later gave way to another shutdown in 2009. Many great knives & tools were crafted over the company's storied history.

Thanks Will. ::handshake:: Incidentally, that Woodcraft second from the right is a Buster Brown Shoes knife and sheath, wish it was in better condition. At the knife museum in Smokey Mountain Knife Works they had a pristine one with sheath, not sure about if or where there is a knife museum now? ::shrug:: They had an awesome Marble's display including a Game Getter firearm, which is a Grail item for me.

I'll take some better, individual pictures of my Marble's acquisitions and post them when I get back to Virginia to get this forum off and running. I too am happy it was added. ::nod::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Yes it is, Stag. I kept the smaller one in my bag when I was shooting. Thank you.
