Square?

Post by muskrat man »

Was wondering if it would be possible or even a good idea to run square through the store purchasing to accept credit cards, for those of us who are already set up with square. The processing fees are lower than authorize.net as well.

For Bryan, here's the Square API docs: https://docs.connect.squareup.com/

Hi Kaleb,

It is possible & it is a good idea IMO. I have an overwhelming schedule the next couple weeks, but I'll make it a priority to get square integrated & available as a payment option as soon as I can. I'll should for getting it done no later than the end of next month . ::tu::

Thanks for the link TFL

I just finished up the Square integration. It is now available to all members who sell through the AAPK store platform ::super_happy::

For those who have a square account, you can add it as an available payment option for your products on AAPK by editing the "Payment Settings" page that's accessible from the seller's dashboard. Screenshots show exactly where to go. The rest should be intuitive & documented. Please post if you have troubles.

I find Square to be a fantastic option for taking payments. For anyone who is not yet on board, you can check them out via link below...

Thank you Kaleb for suggesting we add it ::tu::

When you finish getting the option set as an available payment method, there will be a new checkbox that shows up as an item specific payment method choice when adding / editing product listings...

When your customer checks out via square, it will display a seamless form on the checkout page where credit card info can be entered. Successful charge will be collected by square, order will be added to AAPK database, email confirmations will be sent, & customer will be directed to a thank you page that states the order was successfully placed. Option for printing invoice will be displayed as well.
