So I came this item and noticed the markings. My Dad must have gotten this, while stationed in Germany in 1950 for a couple years. Dear Dad wasn't much for hobbys and knives but this and another set of clippers from Italy are quality.I ran it 24 hrs in my tumbler.

Very interesting, Jack of all trades. ::nod::
Would you happen to have a picture before the tumbler operation on the clippers?
I have never thought of using my tumbler as a cleaning device like this before.
Very inventive, your clippers look new now. ::tu::

No before pic they were just very dull looking. Love my tumbler. Older Lyman that I ran into. Killed, two, modern junk ones in five yrs or so. This one is quiet with a much better motor.

Surely tumbling dulls the edges of clipper or knife if blade edge is exposed ?
