Vintage Henckels Nail Clippers

Not sure of the age on them but all the others on ebay have a different stamp. Seller said he think WWII era or earlier. Anyway I got them and still have a good cutting edge think I may actually carry them.

Neat ! I would like to know when that design for a folding nail clipper was first used. After WW II sounds correct but might not be. Anyone know ?

A.G. Russells sells a modern version of this nail clipper. I used one for awhile. I found that the design is a little lacking. That fold up file wants to get in your way all the time.
A.G.has added a new clipper that is engineered like a regular nail clipper and cuts clean like this one does. The selling point is that it doesn’t crush your nail like regular nail clippers do, but cuts a clean edge. Both do that very well.

They look older than the O.P. one. Just an impression, nothing to back it up.
