This fancy 2 7/8" Pearl 6 blade 'Personal Care' knife was very expensive in it's day, out of range of most knife buyers.
I don't know the age but will guess at before WW II and maybe as far back as c. WW I .
This knife is solid with surprising heft. You know you have a superbly made tool in your hand. The walk & talk of all blades is just as it should be. All blades are easy to access and open smoothly, no threat to the nails.
This knife is an example of Henckels at their best but the poor photography does not fully convey this.

Beautiful knife Roland. I have seen similar renditions of this pattern but not as nice as yours. A lot of the ones I've seen had chips near the edges or cracks.

Thanks Mike. Do you agree with my age range of WW I to WW II ? Are there any features in the fancy pearl multiblades that can be used in estimating age ?

Thanks Harold.
Pictures are not adequate to experience this knife. It's the rare knife that you hold in your hand, eyes closed, and just by feel you say to yourself: 'wow, what a fine knife'.

KJ it seems to me that many of the old Henckels knives are a statement of pure quality. This knife certainly is.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

KJ: That's a real trophy!
A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).
