Re: First Cup Diner!

Good Mornin', Folks. Presently we have cloudy skies and 62 degrees. Yesterday's rain event gave us 1.2 inches of water in the gauge. Uneventful but safe trip to Panama yesterday, doc decided to double one of my prescriptions, they want my heart rate to be speed up. My blood pressure was 118/68 but h...

Re: folding pocket knife manufactured on 8/7/02

::welcome:: to AAPK, jpsfd133! So you are looking for probably a new knife that is 22 years old? Case has been putting an actual date on the box of their pocketknives for quite a few years. That said, the actual knife will only have the year of manufacture on the mark side of the main blade. A deale...

Must have been the person's way of turning that one into an easy open. Sure hate to see one butchered up like that but if it served its purpose, more power to 'em!

Good Mornin', JP and others to stop by. Really warm this morning, 68 degrees. Looks like a whole bunch of us AAPKers are going to be touched by the big, long storm on the radar this morning. The tail is not too far out in the Gulf but the north end is all the way up in the Great Lakes and on into Ca...

Amen to Tom's comments.

Re: THE TOTALLY UNOFFICIAL AAPK COOKBOOK

That's some fine lookin' salsa, Jerry! My contribution to the cookbook thread is a bit different than the fine delicacies y'all normally share. Miss Joy's kitchen puts out some mighty fine Southern country cooking and the other day she baked four rolls of pumpkin bread. She bakes them in coffee cans...

Not trying to be a wise guy but CarMan, you just missed out on a good start by not participating in the 2024 POS Exchange. There will be bunches of junk knives crossing the country for the next few days.
Who knows, somebody might have a few junkers to send your way. ::shrug::

Good Mornin'! 55 degrees this fine morning. Coffee is almost ready. Had a good day yesterday, good service at church and then we made venison burgers for dinner followed by a long Sunday afternoon nap. Miss Joy had baked some pumpkin bread and we had a slice of that with our afternoon cup of coffee....

Good Mornin', Folks. A little bit on the cool side, 46 this Sunday morning. The tractor battery took a charge and I was able to disk up one of the garden spots yesterday. Sure felt good fluffing up the dirt! Not sure what we'll plant on that side of the lane. It's still too wet to redo the fire brea...

Good Mornin'! Had a cloudy day yesterday with no rain, all that mess bypassed us but this morning, we have a small shower going over head. Looks like it should be over in an hour or so. Temperature is around 60 degrees. Made it to town and bought a new set of blades for the mower, it time to mow but...

Been waiting on this one for a few days. I have grown fond of Pal knives, especially the bone handled one. This one looked perfect as far as the pictures and description on eBay. I don't recall the name of the old country music song that had a phrase "there's flaws in all of them" referrin...

Good Mornin', FCD Patrons. 60 degrees this cloudy morning, somehow, we missed the rain which is fine for now. Nothing too fancy here today, just another Queen #51 Mini-T to add to Mini-T Mountain. This one has Carved Stag Bone covers but not the amber kind I'm more fond of. That's a pretty one, Q but it ain't as pretty as the S&M I was bombed with some time ago! Thanks again! ::handshake:: Treefarmer
