That's a nice one. ::tu::
Most of the ones I've held had dings on the edges and chipped enamel.

Re: What is Your Latest Old Schrade?

Some great knives everyone. Rooster blade, huh? Thanks John, I always wondered what they called that blade.

I finally scored a bartender knife that doesn't look like it was rolling around in a junk drawer for 20 years. Big shout out and thank you to Eric for making it available. ::tu::

Re: My latest Schrade

Calvin can you explain how the above tool was used ? Was it to check that the sheepsfoot blades were correct size & shape ? kj I have a couple of these that I got from Eric. They are to grind the nail nick into the blade. The plate holds the blade in place while grinding. It's actually a gauge,...

Help with a lockback

Can anyone help me out with this lockback? Pattern number? Was this a contract knife, or made in house? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any input.

Re: What is Your Latest Old Schrade?

Got a little boys knife type from the Cut Co years in the mail from Knifeaholic, with no numbers on it. About 3 1/4 or 3 5/16 or there abouts. Sweet little old knife although I thought it would be bigger. Isn't that the oldest one in the book I guess. Fine little knife though with good bones. Thank...

Re: What is Your Latest Old Schrade?

Finally filled the last slot in my all bone display with this Walden era 804. Thank you, Eric for making this one available.

The 4 on the left are all Cut Co's, others are Walden, with the 974, 895, and 2OT being rehandled by Mr. Herman Williams.

how come mumblypeg had two numbers in the feb drawing if you are referring to #13 (Mumbleypeg) and #598 (mumblypeg) - they are 2 different forum members whose names are spelled differently. Is that your heartburn? I’ve just tested it and a forum member cannot enter more than once in the same giveaw...

Thanks everyone for the kind words and well wishes. Spent my day snowed in, looking at knives. When ETX is hit with 8" of snow, it pretty much shuts everything down. :shock:
