Re: It's a killer knives
I’ve known George since 1997, when I met him at the The New England Cutlery Collectors show in Waterbury, CT. I have no idea how many knives I’ve bought from him. Calling out an AAPK member in such a manner is low-brow. I hope he does have his lawyer give you a call. You have attempted to compromise...

Those with the blue felt background were done on an Epson scanner with a felt lined shallow tray on top of them.

Re: Not Necessarily Counterfeit, But Certainly Strange
I have never, ever, seen such as that come out of Robeson's factory and although I know little to nothing re' Kinfolks, I'd be surprised to learn they made it.

My Old Robeson Website
In 2006 and 2007, I constructed and published a website, RobesonsRme, dedicated to the collecting of Robeson Cutlery Company knives. I utilized my own knives and also photos that I gathered on the internet, such as Ebay auctions. The company that hosted the website inadvertently deleted all the data...

Re: Robeson 4 Blade
Don’t know if that’s a patch. There is certainly a difference in the picking pattern there.
I’ve collected Robesons since 1988 and have looked at thousands of knives. That is only the second one of those I’ve ever seen.

You need someone that can read and speak that language.

Re: Do you keep a collection logbook/record? What kind?
There is a software call. Documents To Go, in which there is a spreadsheet that you can create your columns of choice to describe a knife, which are assigned numbers 1 through endless down the vertical side. The program is installed on your PC and your smartphone and there is reconciliation software...

Re: Robeson 4 Blade
I had a similar Robeson, same pattern number, but with pearl handles. I sold it year before last in Lexington to an elderly gentleman that collects double-ended gunstocks. He told me it was the only such knife at the show. I suspect your knife as been rehandled, but if so, they did an excellent job....

Re: Sarah Noyes
I went out the other evening to pick up meds from our pharmacy. While I was out, Sarah had an urgent need to go to the bathroom, which is upstairs. When I returned, her walker was in the foyer and she was in the master bathroom. She had climbed the stairs, walked the length of the hallway, traversed...

Re: Sarah Noyes
I wish I could post my iphone videos here. Sarah is walking hundreds of feet in her rolling walker. She can dress herself, brush her teeth and apply her makeup. She can feed herself, though eating soup with a spoon is still difficult and messy. We can leave the house without the aid of the fire depa...

“Dynamite Kives” are illustrated somewhere in Levine’s Guide.
I don’t have one handy at the moment.
Like I said, the OP knife is rare and collectible.

Re: Remington Dynamite Knife
Actually, it’s a jack knife advertising an explosives company. I think a “dynamite knife” has utilitarian blades that are specific to the tasks of cutting dynamite sticks and crimping a blasting cap to a length of fuse. While that knife will certainly cut dynamite, I think the term “dynamite knife “...

Re: Unique folding Scissors/knife marked Patent
I have seen and indeed, own a similar item. I bought it to lay on the antique dresser in our guest bedroom. It, too, is simply marked PATENT in a parallelogram. It has unbroken pearl handles and does not contain any folding knife blades, it is just a pair of spring-loaded folding scissors in a Balis...
