Re: It's been a while
You guys are great, thank you for the warm welcome back. Wow, after looking around just a little the caliber and photography of the knives I see being posted are impressive. It looks like I have much to catch up on and the standard has risen onto another atmosphere. I don't have much exciting to rep...

My wife asked me if we are doing a garden this year but its too late already. It was 80 degrees at 5:30 am when I left the house and it is already hitting 95 degrees by noon time. I tell you what though, since I'm in the middle of my peach harvest I will swap some peaches for some tomatos and we'll ...

Well I manage a farming company and our rates per employee went up 140% the day the calendar hit 2010. This is totally unacceptable and we now pay $2,000 per month per employee. I am meeting with payroll leasing company's in the effort to join a larger labor force and lower the insurance rates. I ha...

If it is just old plain jane it might as well be selling for a discounted price. I have experienced the bait and switch where they show this outstanding slab of stag and g...

Pocket Watches
Well I have been tinkering with a new hobby lately in collecting pocket watches. It is rather interesting and amazing when you can hold a 100 year old time piece in your hand and it still works. Here are a couple pics of one or two of them. One English made watch is called a verge fusee made in 1814...

Do you think they keep increasing the aspects of inspection/QC that farmers themselves are responsible for as an alternative to hiring more FDA inspectors and field agents? Honest question, I don't know to much about it. No its more of a "pass the buck" program. Following the recent salmo...
