Re: YOU TELL ME
Strange. I have the exact same knife. Bought it a year ago in Tulsa. Someone had removed the two small blades and added a spacer. It is my favorite edc knife. There was a note on the knife stating it was a Cattarugus. I assumed they removed the tang stamp since the knife was altered.

I have a Greenbone tested 6207 with a long pull. I will try to get a picture of it this evening on the site.

Re: Extinct Case patterns ...
Here's one that I have had for a few years. Tested 6592. Not as nice as the one in Steve's book as someone used some kind of bondo to hold the back on.

Thanks all. Now if I can only find his phone number and try to come to an agreement! Steve, I do want to thank you in a public forum for your wonderful book. I have been a casual case collector for 20 years and your book has sent my enjoyment of collecting through the roof. Please keep writing!

Is it real?
I have an opportunity to purchase a coffin jack. The owner purchased it at an estate sale and would also like to know if it is real. I did not measure it but it is around 3 1/4 - 3-/12 inches in length. It does look a little too good. What do you guys think? If it is real what is the model number? T...

Here is an old tested splitback 6352. Unfortunately the back scale has missing bone. The knife still has great snap.

Re: I lost all control last month!
You are dead on, 1978 for the dark 6207! I tend to like those later dark 70's. Much better prices too. Below are pics of the USA. I do have a question on this knife. It certainly looks unused however that the circle on the shield has been smoothed down. Could this be factory or did someone buff it o...

Thanks Jethro. the more i look at it, the greener it gets. Here are some more shots of it. I am still having some issues with the lighting. The XX is very clear on the knife but not so in the pictures.

Re: I lost all control last month!
Thank you all. The 6380 is a 7 dot and the red 6207 is a USA. I hope to add to the extinct post today and a heartbreaker in the counterfeit thread. Dana, I will be looking for you next weekend.

I lost all control last month!
Hey Guys. I have been thinking that I wish there were more posts on the Case page. Then it occurred to me that I need to start helping. Today I made a light box so I can finally get some decent pictures. I will work on the lighting some more tomorrow but I am pleased with the results so far. I colle...
