Re: 2024 POS Exchange

I do not know the maker of this lockback. It has "USA FS" etched on the back, with no tang stamp. The mark side handle has been sanded down, but it still appears to be a great belt knife. It may also hit the rotation! Glad you’re having fun, Rev! (Eh, You’ll find that Leatherman could use...

Re: 2024 POS Exchange

Fun stuff, everybody! I love this event every year :) My load from buddyie22. The SKOAL tobacco branded barehead Jack and the little no name lock back are solid little units, and will make fine work bench / tackle box knives. The “gem” for me is the Camco Barlow that fell out of the ugly tree and hi...

Re: What's Wrong With This Picture

I wouldn’t pay a whole lot for that, but I WOULD add it to my collection. I love old knives that show use, and modification / customization by the owner who carried it for years. When my dad was in the navy he spent days filling finger grooves into a Buck 110. I got him a new factory finger grooved ...

Re: Collections, Sub-Collections and Family Group Photos

 Wow, you guys have got some museum quality collections here! Hats off to you all. You’ll notice no real brand allegiance here, but I am drawn to the old school aesthetic of cigar frames. I think the old Ulster is my favorite. It’s seen a lot of abuse, but it just looks and feels “experienced...

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?

The Camillus is going to be riding with me for a long time. I will still sometimes carry other edcs along with it but they will come and go according to my whims. I will not be showing the Camillus everyday. But even as I show other carry knives I know the Camillus will be with me. Besides its util...

Re: Barlows does anyone else love them

I’ve definitely become addicted to Barlows. Most of my knives wind up in my pocket at one time or another, because I just can’t resist the urge to try them out. But when this Queen made Colonel Coon showed up it was so purdy I couldn’t bear the thought of scratching it, so it’s joined my very small ...

Bummer. That Robeson Barlow was too rich for me, too, & an older one just got away from me tonight! The saw cut red bone one? I jumped off that train this evening as well. I’ve gotten some pretty good deals lately with the sketchy economy, but it seems people are still willing to get their wall...
