I'd agree with using a fixed load, an ammeter and a timer. It'd make for a very simple circuit. My truck runs just the same on red diesel

Pretty berserk around here (Eastern NC). Cars lined up down the highway. Don't know what the gas prices are because I burn diesel...and have enough for a while.

If I don't like a price I just don't buy it. Sometimes that works and I later find one at a better price. Sometimes I buy something and still find it at a better price later, but doesn't matter because I wouldn't have paid what I did if I didn't want it that bad.
