Re: You Know You Love Knives When....

::woot:: When you dull the edge of the blade so your Marine buddy won't cut himself! ftd When I was in the Corps I got tired of "buddies" screwing up my knives so I went to the flea market in Jacksonville and picked up a POS made in china pen knife and dulled it even further on a brick. I...

Re: You Know You Love Knives When....

If you look in the mirror in the church foyer and notice one sideburn too long, then use a pocket knife to trim it... right then and there. If you carry a beater knife so you don't mess up your good beater knife. If you ship knives to your work to avoid "the look" from the wife. (Only part...

Re: Schrade Pocket Dump!!

Found this one a while back.
Poor guy had a chunk of bone missing and a pretty bad crack.
Blades pretty full and good snap.

Clip blade was tipped. So I gave it a shark tooth point.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY

At my daughter's tennis match in Levelland today.
Noticed we were about 20 miles from Lubbock Antique Mall.
Went there at lunch and scored these.
SW 881 bone
Schrade scrimshaw
Belknap Blue Grass BG1 commemorative
Schrade 863
Case 4" birdseye

Re: Is Knife Center going downhill?

I like em. Probably the best utility knife ever. I've worn out 4 or 5 over the years including the one this is replacing. I really don't have any "beater" knives but I guess this would qualify. It's my scraping, prying, digging, poking, drilling, reaming, take all the abuse I wouldn't use ...

Re: Is Knife Center going downhill?

I ordered a Vic electrician from knife center monday. On tuesday I got an email with tracking number. All week it said 'label created... usps waiting on package'. I email them on thursday and reply said it was shipped monday. It went from 'waiting' yesterday to 'out for delivery/delivered' today. To...

Yankin' my chain ?

Saw this on "that site which shall not be named". I've only seen or heard of the XX mark on seconds. Anyone got an opinion/input about the description? "A lot of folks out there have made some comments about Schrade Prototypes vs. Schrade 2nds. So to clarify, I offer the following: Sc...

HOT DIGGITY DOG

Ordered this on that bidding site Saturday and it showed up today.
