Re: Collections, Sub-Collections and Family Group Photos

Cool as can be, Rey!
I'm really diggin' your trident forks as well as the 2 prong affairs, and your set in picture 4 looks like a Viper folding knife, how cool is that!

Re: Show off your fixed blades!

Nice Skinner Charlie! I took an interest in Muela after getting the folder pictured at an auction sometime last year. Apologies ... not a fixed blade. Action, F&F is excellent. Muela durability is great also from what research I have done. I looked for one like you have, but could not find it. ...

Thanks Bob, the knife actually is very nice and put together like a tank, it's just not the original I thought I was buying. I'm still quite pleased with it though! It reminds me of a knife that a sailor wold carry. ::hmm::

What you say doesn't really surprise me, Garry, you have always been more concerned about things like origins, makers, ages, etc., so I think you might have our roles reversed with you being the better man. ::handshake::

And a large one! Nice! 👍
Much thanks, K-O-F, that's odd, to me the 2 knives appear to be very similar in size with mine measuring 8 1/4" with the blade deployed. ::shrug::

Re: Help Identifying This Type of Knife

Your suggestion to go private was a good one, Georgiy, I try hard to not hijack a thread, but sometimes fail miserably, but it's a moot point now if the knife isn't available. Thanks for the videos, and although you won't get any strikes against you for posting them there is a specific forum for pos...

Re: Comfort Knives!

Thanks a bunch, Tim, the c/c handles do make for a great hold on the knife, it's just a shame t's not an original, but then again, if it was original it likely wouldn't be in as good condition as it is. ::shrug::
It is what it is!

A wonderful grouping of beautiful Spydies, Garry, I'm wondering if the Police model is serrated?
I recently viewed a non-serrated model and really liked it as opposed to their serrated model.

Re: Collections, Sub-Collections and Family Group Photos

Spyderco knives were heavily used before my retirement. The shiny model on the left is my oldest; about 30 years of age. P1050210.JPG The Spyderco Police. An absolute classic. Nice catch, LS89, I also recognized that unmistakeable shape of their Police model, great minds and all that! ::handshake::...

Thanks Charlie! I will see if I can find it somewhere. The black handle got me ... good looking Bowie. + I have been a fan of Muela knives since the late '80s. Re: Read the knife, dummy!

Thanks Garry. I totally agree, the knife looks good and is in pristine condition, but I thought I was buying an original and it's a reproduction, which really isn't so bad, but at the time when I found out it's origins it was kindda disappointing, but I'm over it! lol! Georgiy! First of all, I would much prefer that you buy it from the seller instead of me, the whole process is far to complicated for me to maneuver and I would send you the funds via PayPal before you buy it. Also, I would insist you accept some money for helping me, no exceptions. Secondly, your l...
