If I recall, Michael Walker did something similar but the knives were horrendously expensive.

Re: Two blade Tuesday
The many shades of orange. The drop point is a Jimmy Lile (for Duxback) with osage orange handles. ::hmm:: What is that Peter Pan looking knife? Very interesting. A McDonald's toy from when the movie was released. The purple blade is(I believe)an ice cream scoop similar to the wooden ones thatcame ...

Re: Need help identifying this lovely pen knife
I believe the knife is Chinese of fairly recent manufacture. The mark looks similar to the Gerber mark & may have been used to give the impression Gerber made it. JMHO

Re: Keen Kutter sportsman's knife.
I don't think that Keen Kutter blade is original to the knife. I've seen similar horseman's knives where both blades are marked with the E in a diamond (no idea what company that was). Looks like that pin was added later too. Cool old timer just the same! ::tu:: Eric Now that I look at it more clos...

Keen Kutter sportsman's knife.
Found at a local antique shop. Master blade stamped w/ K-K logo; secondary stamped w/ E inside a diamond w/ SHEFFIELD above it. Wish it was in better shape. Not sure of the age,but construction looks old.

Re: E Miltenberg Inc ?
E. Miltenberg is likely either a retail outlet or a import firm. The knife was possibly made by Latama;they made a lot of small gentleman's knives like that.

Absolutely spectacular, Rey, many of which are after my own exact taste, What is the cutout/square dark area above the tang, on the knife 2nd from the right in your 1st picture on the "A few more" page, or in other words, the only knife with the clip-point blade? ::shrug:: Thx! 8) A refle...

Re: 1939 New York World's Fair Official Souvenir Knife
First one I've seen. It's different from the regular Washington replica in that a chain loop is built into the backspring. Not sure it is the same size(no dimensional reference);there are at least 2 sizes I know of. Interesting that they left Washington's signature on the handle; that commemorative ...

Re: Scrimshaw artist MW?
I think I may have solved the mystery of who the scrimshander MW is. Going through & updating pictures of some stuff, I was doing belt buckles & noticed the name on this buckle: M.A.WILKINSON. The background resemales the one on the O.P.'s knife. The date on the buckle is 7/83 so he may not ...

Re: Collections, Sub-Collections and Family Group Photos
Interesting knives Tom! I have one almost identical made by Robeson; the difference being a pen secondary blade instead of a file. The bail is stamped, '' PAT. MAY 13, 1924 ''. Which brings up an interesting question: Did Robeson possibly make these for L.F.&C ? I say this because according to L...

Re: Collections, Sub-Collections and Family Group Photos
Hope I can answer this coherently as it covers a lot of ground. Originally my fascination was with so-called, '' switchblades ''. Got a cheap Imperial fishtail from a classmate in junior high school. Lasted about 2 weeks. Got a few Italian stilettos in high school(still have 2; a couple got confisca...
