I have been gifted my fathers small collection a number of years ago, selling a few high end items I or my family would never use or care to collect. Mostly giving family and friends nice med...

Re: American Blade Collectors Association-25 Blades

Wondering if $1000 for 24 (not 25 sorry) would make this attractive.
Thanks for looking.

Re: American Blade Collectors Association-25 Blades

Just found this on fleabay. My father was a life subscriber/member and his member # is 413. L413, 413, 0413 and L0413 are the numbers on my set. What do you think, factory mix up, or more than the 2100 produced? Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-1988-ABCA-CASE-AND-PARKER-EDWARDS-NUMBERED-EX-KNI...

More photos. All but a few do not have papers or boxes. About 20 are stored in the velvet lined folding case as shown in one of the photos. Payment can be made through Google Pay, PayPal or credit/debit card with a 3.25% fee. Again thanks for looking. Any thoughts or insights would also be appreciat...

American Blade Collectors Association-25 Blades

Up for sale is my collection of American Blade collectors knives. Not sure if is in any way complete. All are unsharpened, unused and near mint. I say near mint because you can find minor blemishes from storage or manufacturing. All but one have good to excelent snap. Quite a few have the factory oi...

Re: Show off your fixed blades!

I found these 3 in my Dads collection a few mo. back. 2ea. I. Wilson and 1, Thomas Gunn Ltd. Not a whole lot of recent info on these that I could find. Lots of historical stuff. These 3 seem to be unused showing some scratches from improper storage. On the link below is some info. From The blog post...

Second look and more

I'm fairly new to the site and have been overwhelmed with the amount and quality of the info I have seen. Thanks to all who have given me advice. When evaluating some of my fathers collection and taking a 2nd or 7th look at some these beauties I discovered some hidden work. After almost 30 years in ...

Ka-Bar help

I have this set, maybe a commemorative set of 2 trappers. Not sure of the age looking at tang stamps. I'm guessing it was purchased between the 1960's and not much later than 1980. I say this cause it seems to have mixed tang stamps. Yes I looked at the tang thread and got even more confused. So I t...

Re: Purpose for this knife?

Well, Ray, I wasn't guessing or analyzing. I've seen these before. ::tu:: I am surprised it doesn't have any advertising on it, especially of Pat's father picked it up at a medical meeting. Charlie Charlie, it may have had advertising on it at one time. The pins are oddly raised a bit on both sides...

Re: Purpose for this knife?

Charlie, Eureka. My father was a family doctor who regularly attended meetings for CEU's. He was in the first class of Academy of Family Practice back in the 70's. (Ohio) Makes total sense. Thanks.

Purpose for this knife?

Found this in my collection and wondering what it might be used for. I have asked around with a few pk vendors to no avail. Curved blade not due to sharpening and a nail file/cleaner blade not shown in open position. No Idea what the hollow curved tube is for. Any help would be appreciated and thank...

Re: Browne and Pharr 4 blade congress

Hi Fleas, I'm new to the board and wanted to share. Not exactly what you were looking for but here it is. This is maybe from 1977. The 2 other B&P knives I own have the non-corrosive paper dated 1977. The paper with this one had only a fraction of the print on it. I am the proud recipient of a s...
