Can anyone give me any info on this Wildcat Driller?
Coming up with dead ends. The only place I can find these are old Knivesshipfree ads. Were these an exclusive? Thanks for any additional info.

Re: Up & Down Blade Play
Does anyone have any tips/tricks to reduce some slight up and down blade play on a 1970 Case 6344? If you mean that the blade has some looseness in the direction of the arrows with the blade open, probably wear in the joint and is not readily fixable without a major effort. Re: Case 079 Pearl info and Help requested
Steve would maybe be able to narrow a timeframe based on nail nick cutout or not. IMO, impossible to define an exact year without knife disassembly unless you can definitively see all the dots on any CASE pattern. Guesstimation based on dots in reference to the USA letters is just that, guessing an...

Re: Case 079 Pearl info and Help requested
I agree with Greg - based on the position of the visible dots on the one knife, it does not have ten dots. Please measure the closed length of both knives and let us know what they are. From your picture (it may just be the angle) one appears larger than the other. I can see they’re both marked 079...

Re: Case 079 Pearl info and Help requested
Here are some (hopefully) better pics. That is the only position I can get any dots to show on the blade. Also, the other pic shows both, one without the nail nick cut out. In the second pic, there is no blade position at any point were there are any visible dots.

Re: Case 079 Pearl info and Help requested
Can’t tell you much from the pictures as they’re very poor quality and not positioned to show much of the detail you’re asking about. The knife that is partially open, it looks like I can see at least two dots. If you open the blade a little farther you should be able to count them. ::shrug:: The k...

Case 079 Pearl info and Help requested
I have a couple of 079 vintage Cass pearl handled knives. I’m attempting to date them and how the blades are in the handle, I can’t tell on one how many dots are on the knife and if it’s a pre-1970 before the dating system. The other does have dots and I believer it to be a 10 dot, therefore 1970. H...

Antique Store Find
Found this old Imperial over my lunch break. Appears to have Rogers jigged bone scales. Blades still snap closed but the springs are a little weak but no side to side wobble and the logo dates it between 1936-1952. I put a couple of drops of oil on the pivot area and cleaned some of the lint out of ...

Re: Is this a fair price on this Queen Folder?
I appreciate everyone’s responses. I went back and took a closer look at the knife. One issue is that the back scale is missing a pin. The scale is still attached and not broken but with the missing pin, it’s raised up off the knife. If it were $10 I’d snatch it up. Almost all of my slipjoints have ...

Re: Questions about some Knives
Went back today and decided against the yellow one. I couldn’t deal with the cracks and no wiggle room on price. The NKCA knife does have a nice crack in the scale and I didn’t want to spend $50 on it. The folding hunter was like new, but I was mistaken on the price, it was $80 and more than I wante...

Re: Is this a fair price on this Queen Folder?
I found this out browsing at an antique mall and I’m thinking of going back tomorrow to pick it up. Not sure on year. The condition is important. If it’s in good condition, then to answer your question, yes it is a good buy at 26. Check completed or sold auctions on EBay to verify, but I bet you wo...
