Re: Knife Photography

Like I said if I found an Xmas Tree lockback at a fair price I would consider it. Well, that didn't take long. On it's way to me. I like the stripes on that one, great colors. Makes ya smile just seeing it. I have all the good folks here at AAPK to thank, or is it to blame? (LOL) It looks beautiful...

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?

I’m carrying my Mam liner lock that I’ve had for years. It’s a kitchen beater that had a ton of play. The other day I hit the pivot pin a few times which has left it with a minimal amount of downward play, which is probably indicative of the wood and the way it’s fit to the lock and the blade. It i...

Is the shield like a shadow box? If so, I’m wondering if it’s practical in a user.

Re: Lets see some stag

Mercury lockback from Maniago, Italy. What a small world we live in, Joe, I almost bought one of those today while browsing ebay, but opted for something else, although, it did go onto my Watch List. Beautiful knife you have there! 8) I sent the first one back due to a seriously off center blade an...

Thank you. I’ve seen the Xmas version and if one pops up at the right price and ti...

Re: Mercury from Maniago

If the blade hadn’t been off center, I would’ve owned a real nice large stag lockback like I wanted. The seller offered me a refund but said he had another if I wanted an exchange. Now, I don’t have a nice knife I have a very special piece. I bought this because I couldn’t/wouldn’t spend the money f...

I think Jim Parker just never left anything alone, not sure why there were models with the two nail slots either. ::shrug::
Especially when they can be pinched open.

Re: Knife Photography

Little Bandit Beautiful clasp, Joe, I'm a big Parker fan and your knife is no exception! I just love the rustic bone color! 8) Thank you. I was very lucky as I was the only bidder on it and the edge is unused. Other than a few spots, it's like new. Even at 4 1/2" closed it carries nicely.

Re: Parker Little Bandit

I think it hits the sweet spot of it's nice enough to want to carry and make you feel good but not too nice that you'll be afraid to use it.

Re: Parker Little Bandit

Thanks guys. The bone is real nice. The surprising thing is for a knife measuring 4 1/2" closed it feels great in the hand, not bulky at all.

Parker Little Bandit

Just received this Parker Little Bandit clasp knife that I won on that auction site. As I was the only bidder I was nervous that I picked a lemon, but all seems fine. After checking the edge it appears unused and all the other mechanicals are good so I feel I’ve got one of Jim Parker’s better pieces...

I liked the knife enough to keep it as long as it wasn’t against the liner. I just took a screenshot of this one from eBay. It looks fine. I hope the next one looks like this.

Re: Mercury from Maniago

It is straight when opened, but the seller who was very understanding and offered to pay for the return shipping and a complete refund said he has another. I returned it today for an exchange. I would’ve kept it if he didn’t have another. Btw, someone else commented that the blade has a severe recur...
