Re: case xx barlow

I wasn't sure about the nail nick. It's really hard to see any numbers on the back of the tang. I've been looking for an older Case for the barlow collection ::smirk:: and am trying to learn what's correct. The seller added a couple of pics to listing.

Re: Queen Pardue and Burke New Releases

popedandy's review was spot on. I like the finish on the blades and that there's no etching. Perfect size at 3 1/2 inches. Here's a few pics of the knife in hand

Unless he's got an apology and a good excuse, Burn 'em

You paid for priority and didn't get it. No communication. Had to file a dispute ...... that's the kind of stuff other buyers need the heads up on.

Cool new forum - lets see some Tree Brand

Here's a few Boker patterns that I really like :)

The Copperhead and Whittler in smooth red bone, and a Congress Carver with wood scales. Carbon steel. All 3 are in the regular EDC rotation

Re: high setting sheepsfoot in newer cases ?

I've got one of the yellow 3318's (from '08) and the sheepsfoot on it sits really high - it's not a problem when all the blades are closed, but generally, I prefer to have all blades sit inside the handle.

There's nothing good about cheap, imported imitations that masquerade under old, established trademarks ::td::

The jigging on that 'hammer brand' doesn't hold a candle to the S&M.

That's kinda' what I was thinking. That knife is so skinny...... no curve, swell or flow to it. Seems like 4" is too long for a frame like that. ::shrug::
