Not listed in my original 1920's Winchester catalog either but does appear to be a legitimate knife.

Re: Remington 1917 bayonet

1917 is the date. Remington started making rifles and bayonets for the British about 1915. When the US entered WW1, Remington modified the P14 rifle they were making for the British (in 303 caliber) and came up with the M1917 rifle in 30'06 caliber. The contract called for them to make the bayonet a...

AL MAR Folder????

I have a few AL MAR folders that I am going to list in my store, but I am unable to find one online like this one. Is it a genuine AL MAR? If so, what is the model number/name?, I don't think this is the correct box, but it came in it.

Re: Case 3254 CS

The tang marking on the 3254 knife in question appears to be an etch rather than a laser marking. I think an etch would be easier to apply than a laser marking.

PRESS BUTTON Swing Guard for sale

I have a vintage (pre 1924) PRESS BUTTON Swing Guard automatic knife for sale. The bone scales are nice without cracks/chips. The blade is short and the tip peaks out some. The blade is down approximately 15 to 20% in width. The blade fires and locks about 50% of the time. the rest of the time it st...

I believe the pattern number is on the knife ..... 82. The metal handled ones, similar to the pearl one shown are S2.

Re: PAL US WW2 USN Military Mark 1 RH 35 Fighting Knife w/ Leather Scabbard

I think the knife is completely original including the sheath. I doubt anyone could rehandle that knife and make it look that good, The gray coating is just parkerizing and a little WD 40 and 4/0 will smooth it up.

Re: BENCHMADE 417 Real or FAKE?

Thanks for all the comments. I am now of the opinion that this one is a FAKE although a pretty good one. The give-a-way for me is that that is weighs 2.94 ounces while the real ones are supposed to weigh 3.25 ounces.
