Not sure what you mean by "actually make". Buck Creek is a brand name. There is no knife manufacturer called "Buck Creek". The early ones were made in the Olbertz factory in Solingen, same place as Bulldog and others. Not sure if more recent B.C. were also made there. kj Actuall...

Buck Creek Lockback Stag
Anyone know if Buck Creek actually made this knife? Ive never seen one like it, i have seen older buck creek lockbacks with bullet shield but never the solingen antler shield.Thanks

i recently picked up a 1965 to 1969 Case 6235 1/2 and its different than my others.The nail pull is in a different place and the main blade is in the back instead of the front.Can someone please explain

I ran across a awesome dog collection this week.I came away with A Cowboys Pet,Old Reliable,S&D Our Best Sowbelly, Rabbit Hound,Old Chum, and a few more.I love that feeling when a 3 year search finally pays off.Heres a pic of the ones I came home with.

The description on this knife says its stag but its bone, correct?I have a couple of these s&d knives but they all have a shield.Ive never seen the congress in bone amd dont have a Bulldog book, can someone help me out with some info? Thanks

The jigging looks alot like that on the 75 pattern, but thats a newer knife.can someone post another 70s congress with jigging like this?

I dont necessarily think its fake, but why does the jigging go all the way to the bolsters on the front? I have several congress knives and the jigging stops right at the pins on each side.Can someone explain?

Hello,I'm looking for some expertise on this TESTED era green bone toothpick that recently sold on ebay.a friend of mine bought fairly cheap and this knife books for over a $1000 if I'm not mistaken.the pictures aren't great,I'll try to add some better ones tomorrow.the c on the tang stamp looks odd...
