Re: 2022 Duck Decoy Giveaway

Mr Olde Cutler is a dear friend of mine and to own one of his handmade items is a real gift. Congratulations and enjoy.

So thoughtful of you Jim and hard to believe fourth year doing so.

Actually four words: “Is this for sale?”

Upon hearing OC’s response in the negative: “I WANT ONE!!”

Re: Pocket chopper

Olde Cutler, that looks fantastic! Can’t wait to see it in person. When you mentioned at the shop you were going for a customized pocket chopper I thought what the heck is that?! Turned out great, nice choice for stag handles.

Re: Lots of Knives In My Ebay Store

Having received three CASE “Eisenhowers” in the mail yesterday and numerous other knives in past, I just wanted to echo the forum members above and highly recommend Steve/knifeaholic. I’ve always been satisfied as a buyer of his knives, their accurate descriptions and his timely shipping.

Thread revival: picked up this neat Solingen corkscrew knife and wanted to share it. Tang stamp read the letters W and H with hexagon outlining and below that read No. 21 and below that Solingen.

Re: September 2021 AAPK Monthly Giveaway

Well a package arrived today from Texas much to my anticipation and after dinner, with the kids huddled around, I opened up David’s most generous donation: single blade Venture by H.M. Slater, Sheffield with a triple-grooved bolster and stunning stag handles; the package also contained not one but t...

Re: 2021 POS Roundtable

Well doglegg after my son and I opened your box on Friday night we’ve both suffered mild inhalation and just now able to report the findings. Nice group of standard crap but few users esp. Schrade folding hunter and few for Olde Cutler to resleeve. Son grabbed multi-tool items with excitement so alw...

Re: Is my thinking on this topic insensitive?

My wife's mother passed away on my birthday several years ago. On this day since, I have made it a point over the years to emphasize her mother's bountiful life and in some ways deflect attention from myself in order to allow our two children to hear stories about their grandmother they never met.

Re: POS Roundtable 2020

Both kids -- 9+ and 7+ -- are fighting over who gets the zip case and the inflatable Poop balloon and what knives they like the best. Wife and Kids enjoy POS exchange as much as I do.
