Re: Tested 5392 Case
Canthook, in case you didn't get my response to your message (or was it email, I have forgotten) I was jesting in my response above. That knife is as right as right can be. I absolutely love those '93 patterns and lust every time I see one that looks as good as yours. Please accept my apology for th...

Re: Need a Case Bros. Blade
Have you e?ver found a blade for this knife? If not, are you interested in selling the knife as is? I just saw this was an older post so if I am so far out of date for asking this question please forgive me. I have one of these knives, the only one I've ever seen in person. I've seen a few pictures ...

Re: Camillus model 89
Hello, I've got a couple of these 89 patterns, one near mint and etched Sword Brand, the other worn with the etching gone. I'm not near them right now so I can't tell which is which but I remember one has a longer line than the other. The interesting thing is that the one that is worn and does not s...

Re: Tested 5392 Case
Canthok, I hate to busrt your bubble and run contrary to the advice of others, but that knife is clearly a counterfeit. And just because I'm such a swell fella, I'll take it off your hands so you won't be burdened by the memory of having been played for a sucker. I'll give you $15.00 for it and even...

Re: Golden Rule Knife ?
Another company that used this shield on larger framed knives was Cattaraugus, and I believe there were others, if I remember correctly. I have seen bone handled Golden Rule knives, though they have been few and far between. Not sure if it's always the case that GRC used "only" celluloid. ...

Re: Anyone know where I can find an original Tested 5394?
I'll try to get some pics put up. Don't have any at this point, so will take some time. I warn you though, the 94s I have are rough. Ralph, the 5294 you wanted to see has lost a lot of the elements you so like in that pattern. Unfortunately, someone sharpened the blades down to a little more than sl...

Re: Anyone know where I can find an original Tested 5394?
Thanks a lot for the posts guys. I have several but none in the condition of yours Ralph. I do also have a 5294 gunboat, but the blades are worn to about nothing. My favorite is a W.R. Case and Sons 5394 however, there is a chunk of stag missing from the rear handle--if I could find some appropriate...

Anyone know where I can find an original Tested 5394?
Hello, my second post here. I'm enjoying the site quite a lot--I know I'm late to find this site, but I'm glad I did. OK, down to business. I am trying to find a Tested or earlier 5394. Of course, whether I can afford it is another matter altogether, so I'm not necessarily looking for anything near ...

Re: Rigid knife
I had one of these that I bought in Hot Springs, AR in the late 70s. Rigid opened a factory here in Hot Springs in the late 70s. I went out there one day thinking I might be able to buy some steel, when I was interested in making a knife. They didn't sell me any but they did give me some pieces suit...
