I have to agree.
Slapping a Bullet Shield onto random Buck knives does NOT make them Bullet Knives.
The real reason the Camillus made Bullet Knives are so accurate to the original Remington made ones is Mel Brewster lent me a mint one from his collection every year for me to copy!

They look like Camillus made Schrade seconds to me. That also explains why they are not Swindon-Construction.

Re: AG RUSSEL - WHARNCLIFFE deal
The knife on the Aliexpress site appears the same, but, no A.G.Russell tang mark and rear of tang is slightly different as the Ali knives don't say China with the blade steel on rear. I would guess they were made in the same place. I bought two of the first ones a few weeks ago and could detect no ...

Re: When "Made in America" Meant Dubious Quality
Dale, i just sold my WE 703E knife (at a small profit). $100 thoroughly amazing knife, super sleek design, not spring loaded but has bearing in the pivot. Just touch the flipper and blade swings out smmooth leee and locks up with a resounding 'click'. Easily worth $100. The AGR knives designed by P...

Re: Camillus carbon steel blade 1095?
Camillus used 1095 steel exclusively for Carbon Steel blades & springs,
In the 90s we also used "Carbon V"for Cold Steel knives, but called it 0170-6C when we used it for Camillus & Becker knives.

A little misleading!
Around 700 were made; 500+ had partially serrated blades, 100+ had plain edge blades.
Still, a very rare Camillus!
