Re: Case swithcblade
How do I go about selling this knife???? Ken's (Mumbleypeg) advice is spot on. I don't know if you are an experienced eBay seller or not, but another method I've seen a lot of experienced knife sellers using on eBay is to list it for the book price for a mint example--regardless of how ridiculously...

Re: Roy’s Italian Switchblades
From the recent offerings from Walt, I was able to grab this lovely French Horn SB custom. Cheerio, Roy Roy, I must be getting slow in my old age, didn’t realize you are that ROY…🥴 been on your FS email list for years. I have 2 reference books sitting on a shelf that don’t get used too much. 1st is...

Tony has really long arms…. He and I have been swapping selling to each other for almost 20 years. The fist time I met him he showed my a 5-blade sowbelly, almost fainted.
Congrats, it is a great knife!

Sharpening stones
Came across a group with pieces I have never seen before, the triangle shapes. We’re these for a specific blade style?
Haven’t pulled the trigger, not even sure what type stones they are.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Marbles Matchsafes
I've seen this on ebay and etsy quite a bit, the seller doesn't want to ship to your area so the shipping charges are US$550. or something similar, which of course any one with half a brain knows he simply doesn't wish to ship to where you are so they move on. That attitude from sellers usually com...

Re: Marbles Matchsafes
Sweet deal! 🤑 🤑 🤑 I was at a local antique show today and found another example of the one on the left for $12, full of old matchsticks. The plating was completely gone except for a few small spots. There a number of early knives but the prices were 2-3 times current realized prices on feebay. I th...

Re: ROMO 33cm slipjoint
I used to have them in a bedroom display case, but we went on vacation with new house sitters. Thought it wise to keep them in the safe. I installed a ring system in both my office and storeroom for extra safety. These displays are in my office. Mostly military and theater knives.AD6E2DA8-CC89-40BF...

Ye sir, I very much agree Schmooz. It seems like almost daily we're hearing of new restrictions on this that or the next thing. Up here in Canada the latest is guns, ANY kind of guns. This happens on a regular basis every time someone is shot, they bring up gun reform again, talk about it, and do n...

Re: ROMO 33cm slipjoint
Yep, I remember those good ole' days! 8) It makes me sad we have digressed from common sense to paranoia. They want to raise the age of buying a firearm to 21, but the military trains 18-year olds to use them for our nations defense. And, they want to drop the voting age to 16?😱😱😱 The hipocracy stu...

Interesting letter opener
This has bone scales, not an advertising example. The Stewart/Ritchie book does not have this listed?
Does anyone have a similar example?
