Re: Outdoorsman Thread
I don't know how it got turned sideways , but today my oldest son got his first deer today. Field dressed it with a Case xx 1965 -1969 folding hunter. I know I haven't been on for awhile but I have been lurking.

Re: How do they do it?
Tree farmer , Lol that sounds like my dog Whiskers. He was a short legged mutt . Did ol' Domino whine when you put a new shell in the chamber. I have a Marlin bolt action and I would reload as slow as I could and Whiskers would whine and howl while would reload. I would trick him , when I would put ...

Re: How do they do it?
I had a dog when I was a kid , would wake me up every Saturday at 8 in the morning with a cold nose in the eye. My dad would tell him to wake me up. What was funny about that dog , when we had quail around here , if he smelled them he would go into a point , then look over his shoulders at me , then...

Do you remember these Case xx
I only have one , because I could only afford one. Bought it back in the early 80's when I was around 15 or 16 years old. Case came out with fixed blade heritage series , I got the skinner there was two or three more . I can't remember the other ones. I still use it on skinning out beaver and deer. ...

Practice makes perfect. I wish I could find the little bowie knife my dad whittled out for me when I was about 5 years old. Due to moving several times it got lost.

Re: Any coin collectors on here.
Why I ask this is , my mom kept every wheat penny is got back in change , I was going to separate them by year and put them in tubes. I just got to find them , plus I have 3 plastic tubes of steel pennies I bought at a auction , back in the 80's.

Re: Johnny Muskrat
I swear I read a article in Fur -Fish - Game magazine that Johnny Muskrat was a fur buyer from Alaska. Why he got that name was he bought thousands of muskrat hides back in the 20's-40's for lap robes before the invention of heated car's.
