Re: Where you live, is a knife considered scary or a tool in public?

Well for me and my friends here in NW Washington State we all carry our favorites, both my girls (19 and 22 yrs old) and wife do as well. Normal business in my neck of the woods to break it out when needed for a task:) Although I do believe closer to the city not common, and may get a look or two.. BB

Re: The Traditional Knife Market

Well, I carry and use a portion of my knives, and keep others in the box or on display(probably about 30/70). Re: Finger Tip & Belt Sanders

Something I learned from a knife maker and now use is horse wrap or vet wrap. This is a self adhesive tape similar to what the doctor wraps around your arm after taking blood. I wrap it around my thumb and finger tips and grind away :) It's inexpensive and a 1.75 roll last a long time.

Re: Northwoods Lincoln Jack Release 9/26/2017

Great comments by all. Way to much hype, although most of the GEC and Northwoods knives are very nice..But the same old quick sell out and then the secondary market burn. I will choose not to partake, but appreciate the heads up. Friday is almost here :) BB
