Re: Shapleigh Hardware Co.
Just got this one from Sanders, pleased as always. I guess it’s a spatula but is really more like a butter knife. I bought it for the etch. It’s made in Germany and is 3 13/16” closed. It does have a knife edge. Any ideas? Thanks kerry That is an awesome knife! ::tu:: ::tu:: Thank you sir. I was dr...

Re: Shapleigh Hardware Co.
Nice knife, Kerry, and nice etch! Is it all steel or all stainless steel? How long is the knife and the blade? I assume there is just one blade. Thanks. One blade 6 13/16” overall length. Probably not stainless as a magnet sticks hard to case and blade. Also nothing stamped on the knife denoting st...

Here’s one I have not seen mentioned.

Goins says 1909 to 1939. It’s a mint iron handle with the original grind, etch and Japanning.

Re: Box or no box?
If it comes with a box I keep it. But it’s not a game changer if it doesn’t have one. I do like the Case Pumpkin boxes and try to get one for each pattern.
Problem is when I go my family will never get them all matched up.

Anyone have one of these marked Remington?
I can’t find it in any of my books but I thought maybe one of the Remington guys would know something about it.
Thanks, Kerry

It’s 3” closed with what appears to be a plated blade. No name on it. I thought it was a fruit knife but when it came in it is not.

Re: Where to buy a Cutlers stiddy
Well my friend who offered to machine me a cutlers stiddy had not mentioned it for awhile. But this guy never disappoints and he showed up at my house the other night to help me with my truck and dropped off my Christmas gift. A stiddy for me and one for my good friend. They are truly perfect. I’ve ...

Re: Where to buy a Cutlers stiddy
