Re: Case Kickstart
I know Case is trying to offering something different but I am not impressed with this gimmick of a how a knife opens. Too many problems and they all should operate the same way and they don't! Now they are making a kickstart trapperlock, yeah no thanks I can open it fast enough

It's the Barlow for '19 and they will make as many as they can. I just hope the quality holds up as it's been slipping the last few years right John

I tried for another one on e bay the other day and someone sniped me at the last second. AGAIN. :x I'm beginning to think E bay is rigged. You've got to learn the "sniping" technique yourself! Ken I did. It was at $85 and I bid $195 with 2 seconds left. Some guy with zero wins outbi...

Re: Is this a 1970 ten dot Cheetah??
I also got lucky with mine as it was a Ace Hardware owner who was selling his collection. His store sold Case and he had the proof of the year it was purchased in '72. I will get some pictures up of it

Yes I would also go with that year. I had to put a magnifier to mine to even count the dots

Re: Is this a 1970 ten dot Cheetah??
That's how Case made them, so you could see all the dots and know what year it was. With more dots 9-10 dot they are closer and smaller to fit and almost need a magnifier to see and count them.

Re: Is this a 1970 ten dot Cheetah??
I have a stag 8 dot Cheetah, which is '72. The number of dots showing is all that's there. So a 7 dot is '73
