That is absolutely horrible. I'd send those same photos to Case. It looks like some new guy made that knife.

Stout looking knife Rick!! I've heard good things about Begg's.Railsplitter wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 7:20 pm Begg Knives Bodega. I'm generally not a big fan of frame lock flippers but this one really caught my eye and I liked the price. No buyer remorse on this one.

Re: Anyone know where to find a Case sodbuster in whiskey bone CV steel ?
I just searched 3 different places I thought might have one of those but came up empty. In fact, 2 of the places had no "Whiskey Bone" whatsoever. Unless someone here has one to sell, I fear this may be a tough find.

Here's what I don't understand: I was under the impression that before a potential candidate could open a store here, he had to be vetted, so to speak, by another member in good standing. So what does this say about the person doing the vetting? That person raised their hand for this guy. Now I unde...

They stopped teaching "Cursive" out here in California schools for many years. They decided with "Texting", cursive should disappear. I could probably write an entire letter in cursive, hand it to a young person, and I bet you dollars-to-doughnuts they wouldn't be able to read it...

I would caution you about putting your phone number and email address out there for any one of 8 Billion people to see. May I recommend that you simply ask anyone knowing where they can find one of these to "PM" you?

Re: Hogue Microswitch Blade Swap
Excellent job Rick!!! If I tried that, I would have messed up all 3 knives. I do have a question please. I noticed that the two knives with the longer blades have an "indentation" in the handle (Green Circle), but the 3rd knife doesn't have that (Purple Arrow). I wonder why that one is dif...

Reverand: I'd say that's a very nice job of repairing that knife. Based solely on the photos you provided, the only thing that would make me question that knife is this gap. Other than that, I could not tell the difference. For a first try, I'd say you hit it "out-of-the-park". Well done. ...

Re: Factory Boxes
Some care about Factory Boxes and some don't. If a knife I want did come with a box, I want the box too. I liken this to buying a used car or motorcycle. If the seller has all the original paperwork, including all maintenance records, that makes me want it even more. Anything that helps "docume...
