Sheffield USA ?? Mark??
I have a 2 inch gentleman’s knife marked Sheffield USA I have no idea what that means ? Also the bail is marked 10k. Does that indicate the handles are also a 10k mixture?? Thanks. It works great , just full of unknowns!

Was this a spark proof knife ?
Ok happy new year . I hope someone can tell me what the purpose of this knife was . It is solid brass blade and handles are copper. No metal spring ! Maybe a miner knife or LP gas mechanic ?? I’m sure someone will start my year off well with an explanation. Thanks.

I am just starting to know Camillus so what the heck does that mean if anything ? I did not pay a lot so give me your honest opinions. Thanks they...

Re: Need help Identifying this Pattern!
I used that knife when I worked in my uncles shoe repair shop. He called it a Skive knife and we trimmed leather off the perimeter of the Shoesole or shaved off a leather piece at an angle to fit on a half sole repair.

Thought I posted this but maybe not … Want to post a survivor of many projects and sharpening !! The owner must have loved carrying the knife. It impresses me that after 150-170 years it still has a great snap ..
