Thanks guys! I love the old German Eyes, but they always are tough for me to date. Seems like tang stamp and shield combo is the way to go to get an idea of age on them from everything I can gather. Thanks again!

Others are correct, they were made as a display knife in the 1920's era. Resurrected in the Case Classics line circa 1990. The new ones will have the date as part of the tang stamp.
