I've been dealing knives for 20 years and I know what I have and I know dealers need to make money. Almost everyt...

Re: New Sign for the Shop

Gary, now that you have an official sign and a cool new shop, you're going to have to brush up on your knife mechanic skills because there are plenty of knife collectors who are always looking for someone who has the tools/skills to do mods...and I'll be the first in line. ::nod:: Congratulations o...

Re: I'm not what you think - Any guesses

It was your "think higher quality" tip that helped my guess Gary! These are my 2 Blackjack's, and as you said, I truly love em'! The pic of the paperwork is what came with my FLT-1, directly from Jemmy Iwahara of www.JapaneseKnifeDirect.com ! Happy New Year! 8)WIN_20211231_17_06_37_Pro.jp...

Re: I'm not what you think - Any guesses

For the 1st one I'd have said in this order, Rigid, Parker, but since those are wrong I'll say Blackjack cuz it looks like a Mamba. ::shrug:: The 2nd one I have no clue! 8) Nice Guess -- It's a Prototype Blackjack Top-Lock. It never went into production. Also in the photo below is a Black Mamba wit...

Re: This may be a bigger job than I thought !!!

This is what happens when your collection crosses the line and bleeds into other areas.

This one is an Antique Scalpel by Aesculap AG, Tuttlingen Germany, 1867-1880
I've posted this one a few times before and reused old photos.

I'm not what you think - Any guesses

During my sorting of inventory, I came across a few of my favorites. The first one is a top-lock, by a very well-known company. It was made between 1987 and 1997. I think this one will surprise a few people. The second is a burlap "Box" the knife comes in from this MASTER maker. The bag ha...

A 'known' Treasure Trove of goodies, PC. I found myself wondering how many times during your unpacking and reorganization you'll say; "oh man, I forgot all about this one"...and it'll make you smile all over again with joy. Looking forward to whatever photos you decide to post. ::tu:: The...

I thought it would all fit on the table at one time, but I think not. Let the sorting, photo taking, and editing begin. ::super_happy:: ::woot::

I'll post more on the first with everything laid out to see..... ::teary_eyes::
