Wanted: Schrade Blue Rope Bone Folding Hunter
I’m searching for the last that I need of these four Schrade knives in blue rope bone from around 2004. I need the Folding Hunter two blade on the left, which would be a 227 model, I believe. These were to be commemoratives for Schrade’s 100th Anniversary with a shield and etch, but these were assem...

Looking for GEC 661212P Teamster’s Jacks
I’ve got trades or cash for these. Trying to put together the set, need the tomato acrylic and bark ivory. PM for trades…I know the ivory is a long shot. I’ve got Ivory pieces for trade or other rare GECs if you have one of the three produced.

Re: Is your EDC a GEC?
Thank you, Ivoryman…I’ve got a few more in the user drawer…let’s see if I’ve got more pics. By the way, I don’t put a patina on all my knives which is usually the result of cutting food. Those without a patina get a very light coat of Balistol before being put away awaiting another turn. IMG_7489.jp...

Re: Is your EDC a GEC?
I’d say about 90% of my EDCs are GEC knives. I’m kinda like Ivoryman in that I open the drawer each day and whichever speaks to me, gets the nod. I’ll confess that sometimes I double up if I can’t decide on a single. I also consider what I’m doing for the day and that really plays a part in deciding...

Re: GREAT EASTERN PRIVATE LABEL, CLUB KNIVES & SFO's
Here’s a dozen from three different SFOs, all on the GEC 38 frame. Northwoods Willamette Whittlers and Farmer’s Jacks from Charlie and Lyle.

GEC 981316 Antique Autumn Bone Whittler for Trade
I have two of these gently used big 98 Whittlers and this is the better of the two for trade. There were only 54 of these big boys made. I’d like to trade this one for another Great Eastern whittler. I’d be looking for 57 Whittlers, 38 Grinlings, 89 Wharnnie Blade Whittlers, 79 Montana Workhorse Whi...

Trade Northwoods Mammoth for Micarta Presidential
Yes, I’d like to trade this beautiful mammoth Northwoods Indian River Jack made by GEC for a burgundy Micarta Northwoods Presidential in the same “as new” condition. I am trying to put together the set of Presidentials and the Micarta is the last one I need. As usual, the one that would seem to be t...

I’d recommend every collector having at least one that suits them. They are built to use and they look good too.1967redrider wrote: ↑Wed Aug 16, 2023 1:09 pm A sweet Northwoods, with the blade stamped as such, is one of my grail knives. One day . . .

I still need a group shot of the Willamette Whittlers that I have, but I’ve been hoping to add the elusive crosscut mammoth version to make a complete set. I did get around to taking some pics of the latest WW to join the others. This one in mammoth ivory.

Re: Northwoods Users
This Northwoods Norfolk in purple camel bone is seeing a lot of pocket time this summer. It’s variety of blades and compact size make it an ideal shorts carry and it tackles most tasks that I have these days.

Re: Northwoods Norfolk Pattern
I’ve added a couple duplicate Norfolk 3-Blades to the collection and happy to say that this purple camel bone had some storage spots on it so I cleaned them off, sharpened it, and put it in the carry rotation. It’s a joy to have in the pocket. The newest mammoth got a coat of Ren Wax and after a bit...

This 651111 Ben Hogan hasn’t seen a lot of hard use, but it’s got super action and nice, thick stag to fit my hand. It’s been a Stagurday favorite for a couple months now.

This thread was started back when the 47 Viper was introduced. I don’t have many of these as it’s not a favorite pattern, but this SFO 470114 for Derrick Bohn is a favorite knife from my collection.

Re: Northfield UN-X-LD
Carl B and Luckydog are on the right track. The knife in question was made in Germany on contract by James Parker (former owner of WR Case & Sons) around 1994-95. He had knives made with several old cutlery company names including Northfield. Many of these were made with celluloid handles and ha...

Re: what would you like to see from GEC?
I could get on board with Mark and Trace to wish for a three blade stockman of some sort. The 88 or 81 frame would work. What I’d really like to see would be to resurrect the 76 frame and put three blades on it and call it the “Rustler”. It would lend itself to some cool tube art and a western folkl...

This is our local annual club show of the Ohio Western Reserve Cutlery Association (WRCA) that is right around the corner for those folks around the Buckeye state and those willing to travel. It’s always a good show with a good number of vendors and tables.

Want to Trade for GEC Farmer’s Jacks or GEC 771214 Barlows
This is a sample of what I have to trade for two GEC Farmer’s Jacks that I’m looking for. I’m looking for the Lyle Fry SFO Lick Creek 383215s in Smooth Ivory Bone and also in Antique Yellow Bone. If you don’t see anything you like here, I’ve got other trades and/or cash to facilitate the deal. PM me...
