Re: Now we have a Colonial thread,Show'em
Hello Kasey!! I'm a bit exhausted from attending the NCCA Mystic knife show but I can definately help you with this.... ::hmm:: It's one of ours for sure! An old Colinial Knife company's attempt many years ago for an easy open, one blade pocket knife.. ::uc:: It looks like a Trapper but it's not. I...

Re: Are these fake?
Jerry, You were correct on the Jack Knife. I had to get in very good light and use the strongest magnifying glass that I had and I can barely make out 624. The last 4 looks to have been rubbed out from opening and closing. The numbers aren't etched as deeply as those I've seen on other knives. Thank...

As far as I can tell, they seem to match. I took some other pics for you to see about the molding.

Re: Are these fake?
Thanks, Larry! I looked at Cases for so long on Thursday, I thought I was going to go crazy. Most of the ones Dad recently acquired are actually newer ones. I think one may have been from 1993 maybe a few more from the 80-90's, but I was so unsure if I was aging and identifying them correctly! I had...

Barlow Sabre Brand
This knife has been filed and used to the point that the blade almost has a hooked look to it. All that is left on the Blade is Sabre and PAN.....I think it's got a pretty handle, though.

Are these fake?
I think that these are counterfeits. They don't have any numbers on them identifying the pattern. Also, I have a really stupid question. What is the difference between Case and Case Classic? Don't freak out on me! I tried to find something that explained what the difference was, and I couldn't. I gu...

Re: How do you collect: brand; style/pattern; handle type; p
I collect whatever strikes my fancy. I have a soft spot for Kershaws, but after joining this group and starting to research some of these other knives, I am starting to change my collection a little. I don't think there is a right or wrong. I love gadgets, too. I have probably at least one of every ...

Re: Pretty little German(??) knife and a John Feist Omega
Lawrence, your jade knife is beautiful!!! Thanks for the info!! The knife with the flowers actually has a hammer and a pick crossed. It obviously doesn't have the shield like in this picture, but the site that I found this image on said that this (with the shield) was on a German Uboat and that the ...

Pretty little German(??) knife and a John Feist Omega
Can anyone help me date these knives? I saw one similar to the one with the flowers on a German ebay site....I think that's where I saw it. They were saying it was possibly Belgian made. Re: Spyderco Endura 4 impressions
Kasey is that Delica one of the older ones? garddogg56, I believe that it is a third generation(??). I think that the first generation only had Spyderco on the blade, but this one has G2 Stainless made in Seki-City Japan. I'm pretty sure that the handle is FRN and had a molded in clip that has been...

Re: What is this?
My guess would be Imperial Knife Company - most likely stamped IKCO in a rectangle or in a diamond. knifeaholic, that is exactly what it is. I just got home with it and was looking. I found a picture on this site of a very similar one. My dad's has the diamond, but it is so worn that you can't see ...

This pic may not be the best. My dad just texted it to me. He thought it was a Queen. He doesn't have a magnifying glass to see the tang stamp on it, but I knew someone on here would be able to identify it. I should be able to get a better pic of it myself tomorrow, but I thought I might throw it ou...
