not sure how vintage this Wards Electrician is. Always hope a Wards knife I get is Winchester made. It is a bare head jack, wood with nice bail
maybe a common, not so vintage knife, but here it is, just like to be involved in the great threads here, but so many to see!

thanks Rocky, here is a wood Ulster bare head jack, lighting is not the best and it needs a good cleaning, maybe I will show it later if it looks much better, not sure of age, so any info or comments are appreciated

not sure if I showed this in another thread, like that rough black thread or here, but I have not seen a swell center IKCO like this in my search
here it is short and sweet. I believe the IKCO in parallelogram (box) is older than IKCO in diamond box

here is a Empire bare head jack with black gum/goop? scales
I know it is vintage, 1856-1930. one book say's west winstead stamp was used after 1880, but I think this is closer to 1930
any idea's on the age and scale material?

E C Simmons Keen Kutter, could be made by Walden because Simmons had controlling interest in that Co till Winchester bought Walden after WW I not sure who made this for Simmons or what the scales are made of, some kind of composite. same tang stamp on both blades, if that helps date it or ID it. hop...

thanks Ken, Tim and Larry, I have a few more case I will post here this is the club I joined here in VA, it started in 1976 and the knives are always good quality the first knives were $17 and worth much more now, I paid $64 for this years 17 out of 25 and that is what they go for on the classic cas...

here is mine,NIB, with two other NIB's and a mint/near mint sunset bone muskrat my Cannitler has no spacer between back springs like most whittlers, as photo shows I like the folks at CS and I lived in that part of NY for over 30 years, just don't like the shield I passed all the old Walden factorie...

I think it was you that posted a link to a article on cell handles, or the 'other' Jerry and there is a article in knife world recently Any way, I read till my hair hurt and seems no one knows for sure, but some cell handles hold up well dark colors fare better than light colors like crack...

being a novice knife accumulator Case is a world on to itself, with so many varables, so here I am to learn and admire
recent pick up, cause I love red bone, Case XX, 1940-1964, 61024 and a half

no tang stamps but you ID'ed one as a Walden and the other as a old Queen
