Great info here! Thanks to all of you for your input.
To SteelMyHeart85420: Kenosha... I was born and raised in Waukegan and many of my knives were from my Dad & Grand-dad were from that area and Illinois. Interesting stuff!

Is this Boker Knife with Stag Handle original?
Anyone know anything about this knife? The blade is marked Boker but the stag handle seems odd - like someone combined the blade with the stag handle after? Your input, comments or info is welcome. Thx! Marked on blade: " Boker Hammer Forged Stainless Steel Made in USA" DSCN0622[1].JPG DSC...

Clean My Knives or Leave them "As Is" ?
Ugh. ::dang:: Last night I pulled out a bag of old knives, lighters and pens that was literally under my desk for two years. I'm committed to clearing stuff out so I separated out the pocket knives. Most of my knives are old, rusty and filthy. I could not find a makers name on a some of them but I d...

Can anyone identify this red-handle pocket knife?
Hi everyone... Today, I found two messed-up pocket knives at city recycle shop. They were in the junk pile. I can see that one of them is Case 6208 but I can't identify the knife with the red handle (and white paint on it.) Also, what is the purpose of the funnel-shaped tool attachment? Any guesses?

IXL blade question... I need your expert guess
Everyone- I have this little old pocket knife. it is approx. 5inches from one end to the other when it is open. It's definitely messed up but still really sharp and tight. Anyway, I can see IXL with some number or code beneath it. I think it is C50?? 100_8686.jpg I am clearly not a knife buff or co...

Help identify another pocket knife
Before I go blind or stab a kidney, can anyone help me identify this old knife? There is a name stamped on the blade but I simply can't read it.
Length from tip to tip approx. 7 inched when open. Thx everyone.

That's interesting. The second blade must have broken off. I think my knife has seen better times. Thanks for the help! N.

Just added additional photos
I took a couple of quick photos. This particular knife has one has only one blade... and, I think there is only room for one blade. Maybe these photos will help with the mystery. And... thanks for the warm welcome! Nancy

Any help identifying older Case pocket knife
Hi Everyone-- I found this Case pocket knife in a bag of various pocket knives and switchblades while cleaning out my grandparents estate. In the attached photo, I can read Case Tested XX with long line under it so I think it's 1920-40. It's about 6 inches length. I can't find a serial number or mo...
