Never enough 42's IMO. Even with all the talk concerning blade play you don't see many on the secondary market and the new runs disappear quickly. Eagerly awaiting the blood red Northfield and micarta GEC. Going to be sweet!

Monk,
Nice trio. I'd give my left "ahem" for one of those white pearl LG whittlers. Be a perfect match to my 1/2 congress. Rare birds

#72 diagram?
Anyone one care to explain or diagram the spring layout on a #72 lockback? What makes it tick and what holds it all together?

Love that blood red #79, got to put that on my list.
The #15 is great as well, have a couple single blades coming in. Yours appears to have nice, thin grinds on both blades. Nice.

Re: #15 Sawyer Barlow & Huckleberry Boys Knife
I knew I was going to like the ebony from the get go and had one preordered. I immediately ordered up one of these red bones as soon as this picture hit the GEC website yesterday. Just a stunning knife with the bone IMO. Probably have a repeat performance when the yellow hits...

Re: What do you EDC?
Just a fan of titanium frame locks I guess. Carried many others in my rotation for years but finally settled on just these 2 for the past year. Haven't bought a new tactical in 5 years and none really light my fire at this time. The Sebenza has been with me since '99, the Lochsa since '08. I guess y...

Bare headed and spearpoint is the way to go in my book. I had to settle for the clip in yellow bone as the spear was only available with double bolsters

Chris,
Is the blade a little short on the #72? Mine is ground very thin and must be used with a little caution.

Re: Lemon?
Your issues inspired me to pull my own out of my pocket and inspect it for similar issues. I did find that I was able to slide a sheet of paper between the front bolsters and scales (it's a barehead) at which point it removed the black buffing compound. I wonder if perhaps the bone was not fully dry...

Case 6220 question
I have a Case 6220 I am looking for info on, I haven't found much. It is a CASEXX over SS over USA so I assume it is a 65-69. It looks to have jigged, red delrin scales. Is this a common knife?

I'd be in for both of those. That lambsfoot would be a great addition to join the Pony Jack and Boys knife. Of course an upscale Northfield with rat tail bolsters would rock as well.

Re: Cody Jack
Sure enough, that's the difference. I guess I always thought it had to do with the 73 having a flush joint. I haven't handled a non- locking 72 to see if they are similar. Are they a flush joint?
