TC barlow Frankenknife

Here’s one I did a while back. I knew there was little chance I’d ever score a Stew’s blade , so I decided to do one as close as I could. Swapped blades from a standard run 15A and added Culpeppers amber sawcut bone.

I’ve got to say, was really hoping for long pulls, but the way M&G does old school cool is absolutely fantastic! I’ll definitely grab one or two

One arm TC caplifter in soup bone

This one was a long time coming. Had been thinking about it for quite some time and waited to get all the right pieces together. Originally dyed the soupbone dark brown, but after thinning it down, lots of happiness was exposed. 3 knives into one...

Re: GEC 85 dressed in B&W ebony

Thanks guys. I really appreciate all the kind words! Just a plumber that does this in my spare time to relieve stress. I I’ve got a couple under my belt now. Inspired by Glennbad and muskrat man a few years back. A lot of fine folks on this forum have given me quite a few pointers along the way. I r...

Re: We need an Official Club Knife Site

Is AAPK done doing club knives? I have to admit, I’m not as active as I used to be, but still use the search function to educate myself from time to time. Haven’t seen anything on a club knife the past couple years.

Title change needed

“continues to produce knives in the same way now as they did in their earliest years.”

Not so much. So something I noticed. A mod may want to edit.

Desperately looking for a eureka

As the title says, I’ve been desperately looking for a eureka jack for close to a year and a half. Whenever one pops up, I seem to miss it by just minutes. I have great eastern, schatt and Morgan and a few others for trade plus cash. Specifically looking for one with spear tip, long pull. I would pr...

Re: Looking for #77 single blade.

Thanks Jerry. I saw that. To much scratch for me. I see them pop up on BF every once in a while and I don't mind paying, just hoping to lessen the blow with some trade bait.

Confused

So I received this knife in the mail today and I'm over the top tickled with it. It's absolutely beautiful. What has me confused is the description. "This Northwoods Muskrat is handled in beautiful Burnt Stag. It is tang stamped Northwoods Gladstone Mich U.S.A. , 4" Closed, 3 " main s...

Esquire

First GEC I followed from the start. I really like small pen knives so this fit the bill. I actually waited for the Northfields to be released, but after seeing the scalloped bolsters.....no! No offense if anyone owns one, just kinda Rough Rider'ish to me. I'm sure you all know Barry (gunstock jack)...

Re: Ebay Bid Tactic?

It's odd, I see that a good bit. I don't know why people do that, or bid at the last second. If I'm interested in an item, I bid on it and that's it. I don't see any point of all the other mojo.

ID help please.

The listing said Colonial or Imperial. Tang reads "Made in USA". Not put together very well. I may break it down and redo liners and bolsters. Worth it?
