Re: China Queens.

Name aside they look much nicer than the R/R's that have been pouring out lately

I realy detest the R/R bolsters. These are so much cleaner

I'm hoping the do a 3" boy's knife at some point

Re: Boys Knives Through the Years

Derek recommended that I post this here. I will try to dig out my Boy’s knives and take pictures in the coming days, I have a few. This is a GEC Tidioute pattern 15 Lick Creek Boy’s Knife. Gunstock Jack’s had a few of these customized by Esynx with cocobolo handles and a stainless crest shield. I w...

Re: Boys Knives Through the Years

I'm always looking for nice Washington Jacks, landed a nice unused 4 line Camillus last week and pleasantly surprised to find it's only 3", most are 3 3/8" to 3 5//8". I guess this makes it a boy's Washington Jack. Can't remember ever seeing another. That is rather cool 3" close...

Re: Ring opener knives

Great score corso! I have a few of the Rodgers ring turns. I like their tang stampings... Good luck! I have not taken any of mine apart. I have had one or two refurbished by a knife repair guy. They seem pretty simple. What great little folders I've this Joseph Rodgers on its way to me and hope to ...

Re: Rodgers Norfolk stag Whittler - NEED HELP PLEASE

Not sure I'm in England - if they weren't being shipped overseas there probably wasn't the need for the stamp? Read Gunsil's post above. kj you've lost me? I've said I have IXL's etc without the 'England' Mark Gunsil is saying its expensive to have 2 different Marks? And yet knives afer those dates...

Re: Joseph Rodgers Hawksbill & gerlach nierdzewne knife info (Newbie)

I'd make a guess that the hawkbill is eariler than the 1930's - when they stopped using the no 6 norfolk street stamp

in fact I've only seen that stamp layout on Victorian period knives

Pretty new to this hobby but have always maintained that I collect users, if fact if they've had a life all the better

I just look for what I like and have a limit too.

If its not carrried or doesn't work for me it moves on
