Even used it to slice into my post-yard work snack earlier this afternoon.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?

These two.

Even though they just arrived yesterday, the already feel like familiar companions. The little stockman is just slightly over 2.75", and the Camillus is a little over 3.5"

My mail carrier was very nice to me today, she delivered these three: Camillus Jack, Camillus Equal End, and Craftsman Small Stockman.

Lovely first knife Camillus! Forgive my ignorance, is it a mini copperlock? Is it a 1993? What bone is that?

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?

Sliced sausage to brown in the cast iron skillet for breakfast this morning with the Ben Hogan. Since I am at home today, with jeans on, I can afford to slip the big guy into the RF pocket to accompany the Peanut in the watch pocket.

Re: Knife Photography

Rained all day today, so not much natural light. The flash did help bring out the yellow in the tortoise scales of my newly acquired Remington.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?

This morning I had the Wadsworth in my pocket, but my mail carrier just delivered this tortoise celluloid Remington, so I actually have them both with me now. They are very similar in design and size, with the Remington's blades ever so slightly shorter, and the tortoise scales thicker than the fren...

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?

Thanks Jerry. The mini is 3 1/8" closed, which makes it just 1/4" longer than the peanut closed. The main blades are almost identical in length, with the clip of the peanut measuring just 1/16" longer than the wharncliffe. Even though the mini is a single spring, it is only slightly t...

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?

Two small Case knives today, one SS the other CV. The peanut is a manistay. I also have the mini copperhead today in an attempt to convince myself that this one is sufficient, that I do not need another knife of this size/style.

Re: Inputs requested on compact size EDC

I too will say thank you sir! And welcome to the forum. I am new here, but have received a very gracious welcome by everyone. Depends on what you want to use it for, I guess, but I have found the Kershaw Leek a very handy knife in the style and size you seek. The slim profile (0.3125" wide) mak...

Re: Knife Photography

Perry, those are spectacular!

I noticed when taking a picture a couple days ago that the patina of the CV blades on my Peanut is similar in shade to the glaze at the top of my favorite mug (hand crafted by Brad Tucker), and the chestnut bone is similar in shade to the glaze at the bottom.

Re: Knife Photography

Thank you, I have. It finally saw some raw meat today, but not out in the field. Used it to slice some Neese's hot country sausage before putting the slices in the cast iron skillet.

Just after lunch I stepped outside and snapped this one of my A.W. Wadsworth & Son sleeveboard pen.

Just like Wednesday, I slipped the Wadsworth sleeveboard in my pocket before heading out the door early this morning for hospital visits. It's hard to tell this slim fellow is even there!
