Re: Early German Knives

Great collection of some beautiful knives Georgiy.
You may be just the guy to help me. Does anyone know the maker of this multi blade? the only stamp I see is an anchor with a backwards F on it's left side and a P or R on the opposite side of the anchor.

TWKG guessed NYK and Bill got HSB. They were both right I think , the stamp is HSB . I believe the maker is NYK from the Walden Handle Company(aka The Stag Shop era)

Re: Mystery Knife Game

Yep! Schrade/Walden. Must be a very recognizable pattern as all three agree. Lyle, was first so there you go. I thought you'd like the frame shape, Lyle, it'd be a nice mini-farmer. O'> ::handshake:: That shield and all just said Schrade to me , but nowadays I don't hear so well. I'm scraping the b...

Nice work and picture John.
I've never seen a SKOL engine.
Cool Ike , what part of the country?

We're the engine overhaul center for the Chessie System. The engines were lined up for about 1/4 mile to the right ,out of the picture.
