Re: Lowe's case knives

It really grinds my gears when people make excuses for something that will only take 5 minutes of they're time.

I am a newbie on here.....and pretty new to collecting altogether. I bought Steve's book, and it intimidated me at first glance, but now I leave it in the bathroom, and I've started to understand the jargon. anyhoo....great book, I have been reading it obsessively, I wish I could store everything I...

Re: An inexpensive lot ' JUNK knives must look

I have a lot of junk knives and a few lures that came out of an old tackle box. There are some older Imperial shell handled knives, rusty, some other broken knives and some users, incluidng a Japanese made camp knife. Will sell the whole lot for $30 shipped (and the shipping will probably cost me $...

Re: Buck 112

Here's one for ya. I received this one in '85 or '86 (if I remember correctly) as a birthday gift. I don't see this tang stamp on the list or I am overlooking it. The dot on the right of the less than sign is throwing me. Any ideas? https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/images/forum_archives/pp218-Sp...

Re: how much is gas in your area?

According to the news, the flooding of the Mississippi is having an affect on the refineries and the transporting of fuel/oil. So they get to jack the price of gas up again.

Re: Case Cutlery Reaches a New Low

Phil,
I understand, that's why I posted my second post about maybe giving the proceeds to those that were affected by the attacks. But I completely understand what your saying.

And Victory you are correct. I must of had SMKW on my mind when I posted.

Re: Case Cutlery Reaches a New Low

I think it would be a good idea if SMKW gave any money made from the Bin Laden knives to people that were affected by 9/11. Whether it's the NYFD or families.

Re: Case Cutlery Reaches a New Low

Wow, I don't know how to feel about that. You shouldn't gloat on anybody's death. Maybe a thanks to all the soldiers who have served would have been a little classier. Well I guess I'm part of the minority. This guy was responsible for thousands of innocent American lives and who knows what he had ...

Great pics, and I like the fishing related thread.

I'm hoping to get out tomorrow to do some trolling for spring Coho if the weather permits. I carry a Texas jack for bleeding fish, mostly walleye just before they hit the ice or live well. :)

I've been watching it off and on before any of the eggs were hatched. It's neat to watch what is being brought in for meals, fish, crows, rabbits etc... They are an amazing bird.
