Re: 2024 POS Exchange

Well, most knife collectors love when they get a tracking # for an incoming shipment. In this case, thestrech71, that would not be the case...sorry.

Re: Mystery Knife Game

I don't have much clue about modern knives, but we can give it a shot. Maybe let us know if it is an American or off shore manufacturer.

I'll guess Rosecraft to get things going.

Re: A Special Young Man’s Special Accomplishment

What a wonderful post, Wade. It's always good to see dads and their kids doing stuff together, and I appreciate the way you guys "found a way" to make this happen for Simon. I'm sure his sense of accomplishment is even more given the use of hand tools to make something. I'm sure in the gra...

Re: First date for my special needs son

This brought some tears to my eyes when reading it. Too often we only hear about how superficial the younger generation can be, and also about bullying and other social shaming that goes on. That this young woman stepped up (and others as well) to give your son an unforgettable night, gives me some ...

The urge to go to the bathroom is a great motivator. Thank goodness nothing happened to her on her adventure upstairs.

She sounds like she's full of vim and vigor, Charlie!

Re: Do you keep a collection logbook/record? What kind?

I envy you guys that have organized and cataloged collections. Maybe I just have too many knives, but I can't fathom cataloging all of them. I have so many repeats, and this and that and everything else, I wouldn't know where to begin.

I've never seen a Colonial like that with the picture handles. Is it possible that Colonial blade(s) have been added to another knife with picture handles?

Re: Jeff Mitchell Knives

I had heard through the grapevine that Jeff was having some "issues", but I don't have any details.

That's a shame, cause he was on his way to making some good knives.

Sorry to hear of your troubles.

This little A Wright & Sons arrived in my mail box recently. A very well made knife. Action A little gritty but oil smoothed it out. Purchased from our own James & Co store.20240319_123752.jpg20240319_123814.jpg20240319_123834.jpg20240319_123903.jpg What a handsome knife! The AW&S can b...

Re: Requesting prayer for my father and the family.

I'm sorry, I just saw this today. I am so sorry for your loss, Dale, but it sounds like your dad got a few extra years with family, and when he went, he was ready to go. Though it still hurts to lose a parent, there will be good times ahead as you know he is at peace now. My prayers are with you and...
